Calculator estimates are not professional advice

Every calculator on this Site produces estimates only, based on UK average installer pricing, current Ofgem unit rates, and published BUS grant rules. They are not a substitute for:

• A formal quote from an MCS-certified heat pump installer
• An MCS room-by-room heat-loss survey
• Financial advice from a qualified advisor
• Legal advice on grant eligibility

Actual installation costs, running costs, grant amounts, and savings will differ from calculator estimates — sometimes by ±20% or more — depending on property-specific factors we can't see. Always commission a full survey before financial decisions.

No liability for decisions made

We make every reasonable effort to keep calculator data accurate and current. However, we cannot guarantee accuracy or completeness, and we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on Site content. Heating system decisions can involve £10,000+ — do your own due diligence and consult qualified professionals.
